Neighborhood Health Services Corporation has an immediate opportunity for a dynamic, accomplished Vice President, Chief Financial Officer to administer, direct, and coordinate the total fiscal operations of the Corporation.
The Vice President, Chief Financial Officer will direct and supervise Payroll, Accounts Payables and Receivables, and all other general accounting functions of the finance department; prepare and ensure timely submittal of all required financial management information and reports, including cost and grant financials, patient user count and productivity reports based on internal and external reporting list and timelines, for review and recommendation to the CEO & Board Finance committee.
The Finance leader will also provide fiscal management for all local, state and federal grants, and will ensure compliance with and reporting of all applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations and special conditions, including JCAHO & HIPAA.
Qualified candidates will have a Masters in Business Administration/Finance or related field, or Bachelor’s in Finance or related field and CPA designation. We seek someone with five years experience in healthcare financial management, including third party reimbursement mechanisms and government guidelines regarding budgets, financial operations and reporting. Strong financial analytical skills desired.

Seeking bright, courteous team-player for Dental Assistant opportunity in our busy Dental department. This full time position falls under the direct supervision of the Dental Office Manager.
Responsibilities will include sterilization, log keeping, inventory maintenance and general assistance with patient care. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with people and is able to communicate clearly in English and Spanish. Please be a graduate of a state approved Dental Assistant program and possess at least two years experience as a Dental Assistant. Bring your drive to our Health Center and participate in the provision of oral health care to underserved people.

Medical
Infectious Disease Physician
Neighborhood Health Services Corporation has a part-time opportunity for a family practice Infectious Disease Physician at our Plainfield, New Jersey Health Center. The Physician will provide patients with infectious disease inpatient and outpatient diagnosis, care and ongoing management, evaluate patients for overall health and disease and recommend course of treatment, and order tests and other diagnostic services as appropriate. The Physician will also interpret test results in a timely manner and will incorporate findings into treatment plans, and incorporate patient-centered care theories and goals into treatment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Board-certified or Board-eligible Infectious Disease Medicine.
Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine.
Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in New Jersey.
Family Practice Physician
Caring Family Medicine Physician sought for opportunity at Neighborhood Health Service Corporation’s Elizabeth, New Jersey Health Center. The Medical Professional will examine and treat members of families, regardless of age or gender and will ensure proper injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Provider will also prescribe and administer medications, perform routine vaccinations, and provide advice regarding personal health and hygiene. Physician will also request necessary tests and follow-up visits and refer patients to specialists, as necessary. This position requires a degree in medicine from an accredited school and a license to practice in the state of New Jersey.
Board Certification in Family Medicine also required, and at least 2 years of ambulatory experience is preferred.
Neighborhood Health Services Corp (Newton)
CERTIFIED MEDICAL TECHNICIAN - NEWTON
In search of part-time (16 hours/week) certified Medical Technician to work in our Newton New Jersey Health Center. The ideal candidate will assist with various direct patient care activities, including EKGs, vital signs and phlebotomy services, and will be bilingual (English/Spanish). Responsibilities will also include filing and retrieving medical records, and patient scheduling. Candidate must be certified as a Medical Assistant/Technician and have previous experience performing EKGs and phlebotomy.
