Vice President and CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER – PLAINFIELD
We are in search of a dynamic and visionary Vice President/Chief Medical Officer who will be responsible for overall patient services and for the clinical programs, policies and procedures of the organization.  The VP/CMO is also responsible for the recruitment, retention, and supervision of all physicians, mid-level providers and medical student staffing. 
The successful candidate will provide clinical management and oversight for all local, state, & federal grants; assure compliance & reporting with all applicable federal, state & local laws, regulations & special conditions including JCAHO & HIPAA. This position includes 3 days of direct patient care.
Candidates must have graduated from a certified US Medical School or foreign Medical School with a passing grade or the USMLE.  Licensed MD in New Jersey and Board Certified in specialty area.  Minimum of five years clinical experience in ambulatory health care with three to five years experience in management or administration.  This position will be based in our Plainfield, NJ health center.

CHIEF-OF-STAFF/GENERAL COUNSEL - PLAINFIELD
Seeking a law school graduate for role as Chief of Staff/General Counsel, to serve as a right hand to the President/Chief Executive Officer and act as a liaison between the CEO and executive team members.   The COS/General Counsel will provide a high level of assistance on issues such as corporate compliance, risk management, quality assurance and legal contracts.  This position will exercise considerable discretion and judgment on a regular basis, and will ensure that there is clear and consistent communication from the President/CEO’s office.  A minimum of one year experience working with the C Suite and organizational Board of Directors is required along with impeccable follow-up and organizational skills.

Dental

DENTIST  (FT) 2 Positions  Examines, diagnoses, and treats diseases, abnormalities, injuries, and dysfunctional disorders of the oral cavity and its associated structures while providing quality hands-on dental care. Receives general direction from the Chief of Dental Services. NJ Board of Dentistry current license to practice dentistry as DMD OR DDS.  Current CDS and DEA required. At least three years as a practicing community dentist.  (Full Time) 40 hours/week  Mon-Fri  Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Dental Assistant (FT) Responsibilities include assisting in the examination and treatment of patients under the direct supervision of a licensed Dentist. Duties include but are not limited to assisting in patient care, participating in patient education, responsibility for care and maintenance of instruments and equipment used in the department and inventory of supplies. 1 year dental assisting experience and dental x-ray license required. (Part Time) 40 hours/week Mon-Fri    Saturdays & Evenings as needed

CERTIFIED DENTAL ASSISTANT - PLAINFIELD
Seeking bright, courteous team-player for Dental Assistant opportunity in our busy Dental department.  This full time position falls under the direct supervision of the Dental Office Manager.

Responsibilities will include sterilization, log keeping, inventory maintenance and general assistance with patient care.  The ideal candidate will enjoy working with people and is able to communicate clearly in English and Spanish.  Please be a graduate of a state approved Dental Assistant program and possess at least two years experience as a Dental Assistant.  Bring your drive to our Health Center and participate in the provision of oral health care to our patient population.

ASSISTANT CONTROLLER GRANTS MANAGER - PLAINFIELD

NHSC is in search of a seasoned professional for dual role as Assistant Controller/Grants Manager.  The position will report to the Chief Financial Officer, and will direct and assist in the management of all financial activities of the organization as directed by the Chief Financial Officer. The successful candidate will oversee the funding procedure with responsibility for the pre and post award management of the organization’s portfolio of grants. The Assistant Controller/Grants Manager will provide management oversight for key financial functions including but not limited to Accounts Payable, Payroll, Budgeting and Grants Management, which will include writing grant proposals and reports and conducting research.

Principal accountabilities:
Oversee, directs and evaluate general corporate accounting functions that includes maintaining the general ledger information on accrual basis, including posting of journal entries and review and analysis of trial balance;
Ensures accurate coding of revenues and expenses by category, grant/fund type and department;
Maintain and reconcile grants and special project expenditures;
Prepare vouchers and periodic reports for grants;
Prepare, review, and present monthly & quarterly financial statements to Chief Financial Officer;
Daily cash management, including assuring adequate cash is in the payroll account to receipt of payroll and adequate cash is present in the operating account prior to the release of A/P checks;
Assist in the preparation of bi-weekly payroll processing in accordance with NHSC policies and procedures and State and Federal regulations and laws;
Direct preparation of budgets and reports required by regulatory agencies;
Assists with the coordination the month-end and year-end closing process;
Assist with preparation of and participation in audits (year-end, state agencies, labor union etc.) and periodic reporting to external agencies;

Assumes responsibilities of Controller in his/her absence;

Compile and maintain supporting grant materials in accordance with NHSC guidelines.

Health Information Management (HIM)

HIM Supervisor (FT) Responsible for the overall supervision of the daily operations of the Health Information Management. Prior Supervisory experience required. Responsible for the correct filing and retrieving medical records, following of all medical guidelines and other relevant duties as assigned. (Full Time) 40 hours/week  Mon- Fri. Saturdays & Evenings as needed

Information Systems

IS Support Technician provides a single point of contact for end-users to receive support and maintenance within the Plainfield Neighborhood Health Services Corp. Newton and Philipsburg desktop computing environment. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all PC hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance. The person will also troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via e-mail) in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user assistance where required. College Degree in Computer Information Systems or related field desired but not required.  2+ years of relevant work experience required.
(Full Time) 40 hours/week Mon-Fri. Some Saturdays as
needed.

Neighborhood Health Services Corp (Newton)

Family Medicine Physician (PT) Examines and treats members of family, regardless of age or sex. Ensures proper injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Prescribes and administers medications, performs routine vaccinations, and provides advice regarding personal health and hygiene. Requests necessary tests and follow-up visits and refers patients to specialists, as necessary. Requires a degree in medicine from an accredited school and a license to practice in the state of New Jersey. Board Certification in Family Medicine required. At least 2 years of prior ambulatory experience preferred (Part Time) Mon-Fri Some Saturdays & Evenings as needed

CERTIFIED MEDICAL TECHNICIAN - NEWTON
In search of part-time (16 hours/week) certified Medical Technician to work in our Newton New Jersey Health Center. The ideal candidate will assist with various direct patient care activities, including EKGs, vital signs and phlebotomy services, and will be bilingual (English/Spanish). Responsibilities will also include filing and retrieving medical records, and patient scheduling. Candidate must be certified as a Medical Assistant/Technician and have previous experience performing EKGs and phlebotomy.
