DEVELOPMENT

ANNUAL GIVING
As with other health facilities, insurance and patient payments do not cover the costs of providing full health care to our patients. To bridge the gap between costs and revenues, the Center conducts an annual campaign throughout the greater community. Gifts to the annual campaign are used to support salaries and a variety of programs provided by the Center. Gifts range from a few dollars to thousands of dollars from individual donors and corporations. Plainfield Health Center welcomes all contributions. Corporate matching gifts add to these contributions considerably. The Center recognizes gifts of $250 or more with appropriate Internal Revenue Service acknowledgements for tax purposes. Regardless of gift amounts, the number of individual gifts greatly impacts the Center's ability to qualify for grants and matching gifts from other sources, so all gifts are appreciated.

CAMPAIGN GIVING
Occasionally, The Plainfield Health Center conducts specific capital campaigns to raise funds for new construction, equipment purchases, etc. These funds are used for specific programs and can be given one time, or pledged over a period of years. The decision to conduct a capital campaign is made by The Plainfield Health Center Board of Directors.

PLANNED GIVING
Donors may choose various forms of planning giving, such as trusts, annuities and bequests, which support the organization after one's lifetime or a specified period of years. PHC is delighted to receive such donations and is available to assist donors with planning a gift.
